Our Safety Process

We are working with neighbors and other landlords in the area to maintain the quality of the neighborhood. We want to ensure that people do not use rental units for illegal activity. To that end, we utilize leaders in the Real Estate Marketplace to automate a thorough Background check.  The Third party Real Estate Marketplace vendor makes sure out tenants are safe, our staff is safe and our potential tenants are safe.


Third Party Real Estate Marketplace vendors may charge a fee of $40.00 per person, as this is not done by us, our staff, or our company, it is non-refundable. We will accept the first qualified person for any unit.


Once the process is complete, you will have the peace of mind of knowing that other renters in this area are being screened with the same equal care, and that the risk of illegal activity is reduced.

Finding a Rental Home in Bangor/Brewer Area

 

  • Give yourself plenty of time to find the right home. Keep in mind that most property management companies are not available on the weekends to show homes so most of them will want to schedule viewing appointments during weekday business hours.
  • Take the time to browse vacancies. Keep in mind that most vacancies are filled within a 30 day period so if you find a home you are especially interested in, time is of the essence.
  • Keep in mind that most property management companies will require you to drive by the home prior to setting an appointment to show the inside.
  • Bangor Home Rentals' policy for safety of tenants and staff is that the Background must first be completed. If we receive two complete Backgrounds at the same time, we will pick the stronger of the two.

Bangor Home Rentals is animal friendly in most all of our apartments!! Individuals who require a service animal or assistance (therapy) animal are not subject to an animal fee and any such fee shall be waived in the case of a service animal or assistance (therapy) animal. The use of such an animal in connection with rental property is not conditioned on the payment of any other fee directly related to such service animal or assistance (therapy) animal.
